It is my pleasure as always to present to you this report that chronicles the rest of our FAC School Outreaches for the year 2024 as we wrap up this project
Right from the start, I would like to thank our team of volunteers who made it all possible for us to continue to reach children online and offline with such impactful programmes.
On behalf of the board of trustees and admin team, I would like to say thank you for your sacrifice and dedication. We will also like to thank our donors for your generous support.
As our main project in 2024. the Ask The Paediatricians Foundation First Aid Care (FAC) School Outreaches which we started in late 2023 continued in 2024. Though we have not yet achieved our goal for this project which was to empower 1 million Nigerian Students with basic knowledge of first aid care for common medical emergencies; we have definitely come a long way.
I am pleased to report that we have almost hit our target of reaching our first pilot 100,000 students though we had some challenges in a few states with getting approvals from the school management.
We are grateful to the Ministry of Education in each of the states visited for their permission to reach the students in the schools. The feedback from the staff and the students have been amazing. We have chronicled in this magazine pictures from the schools we visited. There are more pictures available on our website and Facebook group which we encourage you to visit.
