Stunting remains a significant public health issue in Rwanda, particularly in rural areas. It is a result of chronic malnutrition, often caused by inadequate diets, nutrient deficiencies, and persistent infections. This condition affects children's physical and cognitive development, undermining their potential for a healthy future.
In response to this challenge, this project aims to provide comprehensive nutritional support to 190 stunted children in two sectors of the Eastern Province, Rwanda, over six months. The project includes dietary intervention, household support with egg-producing chickens, and nutrition education for sustainability.
