El pasado viernes 22 de febrero celebramos Por Amor Al Arte y recibimos a más de 120 invitados en el Centro de Artes Integradas en un exitoso encuentro para recaudar fondos para el Laboratorio de Artes Integradas.
Esta primera edición no habría sido posible sin todos aquellos que ante la pregunta: “¿harías esto por amor al arte?”, dijeron que sí. Tenemos que extenderle el más sentido y sincero agradecimiento al Profesor Briceño, Ricardo del Búfalo y Anakena por entretener a todos los invitados que recibió el CAI esa noche y darnos tela/motivos para liberar tensiones. También a nuestros patrocinantes Ron Carúpano y Cerveza Peregrina, que con un gran donativo nos refrescaron con productos de primerísima calidad, así como a Poke.212 y Cochino Amor, responsables de la oferta gastronómica. Además, a nuestro piloto y guía esa noche, Lorenzo Martinez, quien fue el host, al artista Hugo Carrasco quien realizó una obra en vivo durante el evento y a los arquitectos de Atelier Caracas, quienes realizaron una instalación en la terraza.
Por último, pero no menos importante, agradecemos a todos nuestros amigos de GlobalGiving que se animaron a formar parte de de esta iniciativa y apoyar la educación en las artes.
Recaudamos más de $2000 que nos permitirán comprar y restaurar instrumentos, adquirir materiales para las clases de dibujo y pintura, reparar superficies de trabajo y cubrir las meriendas para los muchachos. Seguiremos compartiendo más información sobre nuestro progreso y esperamos repetir estos encuentros, para que puedan volver a visitarnos pronto.

Last Friday, February 22, we held a successful event called Por Amor Al Arte, we welcomed more than 120 guests at Centro de Artes Integradas in a gathering to raise funds for Laboratorio de Artes Integradas.
This first edition would not have been possible without all those whot positively answered our question: "Would you do this for the love of art?". We have to extend the most sincere thanks to Professor Briceño, Ricardo del Búfalo and Anakena for entertaining all the guests who came to CAI that night and giving us reasons to release tensions. Also to our sponsors Ron Carúpano and Cerveza Peregrina, who with a great donation refreshed us with top quality products, as well as Poke.212 and Cochino Amor, responsible for the gastronomic offer. In addition, to our pilot and guide that night, Lorenzo Martinez, who was the host, to the artist Hugo Carrasco who made a live work during the event and to the architects of Atelier Caracas, who made an installation on the terrace.
Last but not least, we thank all of our GlobalGiving friends who continue to be part of this initiative and support arts education.
We raised more than $ 2000 that will allow us to buy and restore instruments, acquire materials for drawing and painting classes, repair work surfaces and cover snacks for the kids. We will continue to share more information about our progress and we hope to repeat these meetings, so you can visit us again soon.
