Celebrating creativity and togetherness
By Michael Rabot | Project Leader
![]()
Last December, as part of the Christmas Market organized in our yard by one of our neighbours, we had the pleasure of welcoming families into our space for our “ Grandir Ensemble (Growing Together)” workshop.
It was a moment filled with creativity, laughter, and meaningful exchanges around essential values for better living together. Parents and children left with not only precious memories but also a unique piece of art they created together.
Through these workshops, families can enjoy quality time away from screens while:
- Engaging in deep conversations with their children about life skills and citizenship values, using our conversation cards.
- Creating art together, strengthening their bond through a shared creative experience.
Who is it for?
These workshops are designed for parents and children aged 5 to 12, but they are also open to godparents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, or any close family members who wish to share a special moment with their loved ones.

A day of exchange and growth
By Michael Rabot | Project Leader
![]()
As part of the Art for Our Future initiative, we recently organized a pedagogical outing for participants from the Fortified Learning Environment (FLE) Unit, including tutors, community mentors, and school coordinators. This event, held at Lakaz Flanbwayan, provided an enriching opportunity for personal renewal and professional reflection.
The day was dedicated to encouraging meaningful discussions on their practices, sharing experiences, and exploring ways to enhance their educational approach. The serene and inspiring environment of Lakaz Flanbwayan greatly contributed to this moment of growth.
One of the unique aspects of Facilit'Art is the integration of empowering and participatory approaches throughout the program. Participants are encouraged to experience and assimilate these methods on an ongoing basis, ensuring a true transformation in their educational practices. This comprehensive program aims to prepare the participants of the FLE Unit to create enriching and inclusive learning environments, where every child can flourish.

Introduction of conversational cards.
By Michael Rabot | Project Leader
![]()
We recently organized a test activity at our premises to introduce conversational cards, followed by engaging artistic workshops.
Conversational cards are discussion cards designed for children and their parents. Each set of cards addresses an essential value or skill, often overlooked but crucial for children's personal and social development. In a context where social and emotional skills are increasingly sidelined, our cards aim to restore these skills to their rightful place. By engaging in deep and meaningful conversations, we hope to encourage personal expression, strengthen family bonds, and develop key skills in children.
The artistic activities that followed were a highlight, offering participants, both children and their parents, an opportunity to learn about each other and enjoy quality time together. Through creative expression, they could bond and share experiences in a fun and relaxed environment. The feedback from participants was very positive. For example, a child expressed the importance of "listening more to their parents, brother, and sister," while a mother noted the need to "be more attentive and available." Others mentioned improvements such as "improving patience and listening" and "implementing more teamwork." These testimonials highlight the positive impact of both our conversational cards and the artistic activities, encouraging us to continue in this direction.
