By Michelle Frances Uy | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project preventing the cruelty of animals. Most of dogs in remote barrios are not kept in the homes but roam around the area. They serve as guard for the farm and homes but one negative effect is that with time, they are just left unattended and lack food or general care. They also mate frequently and unsupervised so the result is that there are just too many dogs roaming around. In the past, people eat dog meat but not anymore at present because of fear of diseases so this situation. This reporting period we were able to treat 75 stray puppies and we are happy to note that all of them are doing well.
Again thank you very much for your help.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle
