Our attentions was recently drawn to the present deplorable state of the school for hearing impaired situated at Akure in Ondo state founded by the Government on the 15th of April, 1977 to cater for the literacy and vocational needs of children . The present predicament of the pupils in terms of dilapidated infrastructures, inadequate facilities for vocation and learning to us is considered an infringement on their fundamental human right. It is so disheartening that this people were neglected.
Considering the level of decadence in the infrastructure, learning and teaching tools, this project is aimed at improving the state of the infrastructure, visual, teaching and selected vocation of the affected children both in the primary and the secondary section totaling six hundred and fifty five
the project will serve as a means of encouragement to the school staffs which will lead to good performance of the pupils and turn out good product in case of graduating students with better tomorrow and also encourage the parents with physical challenge children to bring them out for education instead of hiding them
