Dear Friends!
Thank you for your incredible support through this time, it brings tears to my eyes, thinking about how really grateful we are that you were there for Dzherelo Centre and for our children with disabilities. This project had an immense impact on the whole community of impaired people in Lviv, Ukraine. Funds, gathered by this project, were used to provide maintenance and fuel to the transportation program of Dzherelo Centre. Every day the buses transported approximately 117 children and young persons to the Centre, those who have troubles with moving around the city via public transport or by car. After the programs, the buses drove children back home. We were not only able to ensure that children and youth with disabilities receive save and qualitative transportation services while traveling to Dzherelo, but also supported IDPs with disabilities, when the war in Ukraine broke out. Our transportation program provided services to more than 2 000 IDPs, bringing them around the city free of charge. And all of this - thanks to your support! THANK YOU!
We also expanded our program a bit, as mentioned in our previous report - we bought 2 more buses using grant funds from our other international partners. These buses will complete our transportation fleet, bringing the total number of buses to 8. These vehicles will continue to transport children and youth with disabilities to Dzherelo's programs.
Thanks to your support, we were able to maintain our transportation program in proper condition during wartime and the ongoing economic crisis.
