The Cultiva Corporation has planted more than 20,000 native trees in Renca, a commune in Santiago de Chile with a deficit in green areas. We are planting a hill in order to transform it into a national park of native species, where people can spend days of rest in this place. In Santiago it hardly rains, Chile is going through the biggest drought in our history and we don't have drinking water to irrigate our trees. We still use water trucks and ponds to accumulate water.
In Santiago, Chile, it hardly rains at all, we are going through the worst drought in our history and we are still using irrigation systems with water trucks and manual irrigation for more than 70,000 native trees. We are maintaining a forest of approximately 40 70 hectares and we need funding for the trees to grow and enrich the land with their benefits.
xWith the funding for the water we can continue our maintenance of the trees in Santiago, Renca. The objective is to convert this space into a natural park with native species of our area, in order to optimize the water resource and return the original species to develop a sustainable and sustainable forest over time. The ecological restoration not only refers to trees and shrubs but also attracts more wildlife.
