The winter has been long, but always warm and entertaining in the LUDOTECA of Cerro Merced, in VALPARAÍSO. Where every day, we receive the children of the neighborhood for activities and workshops on differents topics such as art, theater, embroidery, carpentry among others.
The puppet workshop was very entertaining, we also had the expected solar eclipse, which we all wait with a delicious hot chocolate and an afternoon of stories.
In the embroidery workshop the projects are more beautiful every day, we made an exhibition to the families, where the assistances could appreciate the work of their children during the afternoons of Tuesdays.
As usual, on Fridays we go out to differents outside activities, from walks in the neighborhood, classical music concerts at the University Federico Santa Maria, and visit an educational farm in Concon.
Also during the month of July monitors of the carpentry workshop of the Ludoteca did a workshop in a school to built a greenhouse, in 4 days between 40 young people of 14 years built a large greenhouse made of wood and tires.
And to animate the winter we are preparing a play in the theater workshop that will be exhibited at the spring festival of the hill Merced, the play is created by the children of the Ludoteca based on stories from the neighborhood.
With this we say goodbye until the next report, where we will tell you how was this beautiful spring party and the play.
