Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the following results have been achieved in extracurricular activities.
Activities such as swimming, self-defense martial arts and recycling workshops contribute to several areas of the children's development:
1)Swimming: physical development: it has improved coordination, muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility. As a sport that requires regular practice, it has fostered discipline.
Life skills: Teaching essential skills such as water safety and self-confidence, children have acquired skills to prevent accidents in the water.
Mental Health: Offers a form of exercise that can reduce stress and improve overall well-being.
2)Martial arts and self-defense. Promotes self-discipline, self-control and personal discipline.
Confidence and self-esteem have been achieved, they have learned to defend themselves and master self-defense techniques, as well as foster respect and ethics.
3) Recycling workshop: Environmental awareness has been achieved; they learn the importance of recycling PET, plastic and paper, among others, and how their actions impact the environment. It develops creativity as well as critical thinking on how to reduce waste.
In general, these activities not only provide specific skills, but also contribute to the integral development of children and adolescents by promoting their physical, mental and social well-being.
