Dear Maitri Friend,

We sincerely hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. The Covid-19 pandemic led to shutting of all schools since March 2020. As an impact of Covid , our Afterschool Programme for underprivileged children remained suspended. You will be pleased to know that despite the challenges, during the pandemic, Maitri has successfully renovated the school and has conducted outreach activites. We will reopen the school shortly and resume all our activities .

As you might have been aware by now, Indian NGOs have been facing an issue with disbursement of funds from GlobalGiving. since 2019. While GlobalGiving is constantly looking out for ways to mend this issue, we are hopeful that, we will get through these challenges.

Your donations will reach us, hopefully soon. Please continue to support us. Your contribution goes a long way in supporting our vision . Now, more than ever, our community needs us and we need you. We hope we will overcome this period together, and reopen our learning programme.
