We believe that everyone deserves a fair shot at personal, financial, and emotional independence. A Fair Shot Fund seeks to enable immigrant shot takers on their journey. A Fair Shot will do so by providing relief and resources such as food and US citizenship information to immigrants.
Despite all obstacles, immigrants remain resilient and aspire to thrive. The COVID-19 crisis has made matters worse, disproportionately affecting immigrants, especially those in the bar and restaurant sector. The crisis' shock to the system has caused the immigrant community to toggle between fundamental needs and social mobility. Immigrants have the drive to satisfy these needs, improve their lives, and become US citizens but lack access to the resources and knowledge to go through with it.
A Fair Shot will enable immigrants on their journey by providing resources to fulfill their fundamental needs and aspirational needs. Our nonprofit partners will provide immigrants with support on the legal pathway to US citizenship.
