First of all, thank you! We had the dream of putting a computer in every children's care home in Japan to build a network and with your support we are well on our way to doing so.
We have received donations as well as donated equipment we then take into our inventory, upload the necessary operating system and after placing a YOUMEWE sticker with our website address on it, we ship them out to homes who request them.
One of our Ambassadors built an online store for the homes to order the equipment for free and we deliver to them. We now have computers as far north as Iwate in Tohoku and as far south as Nagasaki. We also have started to build the "Kansai Belt" from Kyoto to Osaka with homes accepting computers.
We initiated the project with the spin on the historical 53 stations of Tokaido when the Shogun had his people walking from Nihonbashi to Kyoto spreading his word and made it the 53 stations of IOT/Connectivity. Mapping the homes along the way.
We also had our donor who rode through the entire country on his bike raising funds and awareness for us and we mapped the homes along his route with whom we are in contact.
Ultimately we want every child living in the homes to have their own device. Simply because we live in an information society and it is necessary for children living in the 21st century and who will live to the 22nd century to be connected and informed.
Just last week, we brought in another 43 laptops from a corporate donor and 5 laptops to give high school graduates at Christmas Village.
Our sponsor donated computers and bags for the kids to carry them with.
Thank you again for your support, we will not rest until we have reached our goal and then on to the next goal.
Sincerely,
YouMeWe NPO
