In April and July 2023, MSD United Way Vietnam received 4 cases in need of support for birth certificates for children N.N.L, N.T.N.L, N.A.T.T, and L.G.H in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. After gathering information and understanding the family's situation, MSDUWV collected necessary documents, worked with relevant parties, covered the cost of DNA testing, and provided financial assistance to obtain birth certificates for these children. In July and August, the children officially received their birth certificates, opening up a brighter future for their lives. It is worth mentioning that N.N.L obtained the birth certificate just in time to attend the 2023-2024 school year. Therefore, from the beginning of 2023 until now, MSDUWV has supported the issuance of 9 birth certificates for children in difficult circumstances.
