Life conditions have worsened in Syria after the terrible earthquake that struck Turkey and Northern Syria two months ago, causing great destruction and death. Thousands of people are still displaced, most of them have lost everything they had.
Pro Terra Sancta has now started the second phase of the after earthquake intervention: the reconstruction of houses. It's urgent to start reparation and reconstruction works, yet there is a need not only for the reconstruction of houses, but also for people, especially children who need urgent psychological support to process the trauma.
This is why the Name and Future centers in East Aleppo are of great importance in this moment. During the first weeks immediately after the earthquake we've increased the psicological support activities in the 4 centers we run in East Aleppo, but there is an activity in particular we would like to invest most in the coming months: the "Minivan of life" project.
The "minivan of life" project consists in a minibus that every day reaches East Aleppo with psychologists, educators and teachers on board. To the children and young people we meet on the streets, we propose moments of activity together on board the minibus, designed to make them feel welcomed and listened to, perhaps for the first time, and essential to create a first contact with them.
The project wants to reach all those children who don't know about our centers or cannot come follow the activities in the centers because they have to work to maintain themselves or help their families.

We hope to be able to increase the number of vans to reach as many children as possible, this is why your support is of great importance!
