Project Report | Mar 4, 2022
HHWT spring semester 2022

By Howard w renz | Treasurer HHWT

some Students Sept 2021 semester
some Students Sept 2021 semester

We started our spring 2022 semester and added an additional woman’s and girl’s woodworking class; our school now is now balanced 50% female and male classes.

One of our Sept 2021 semester a woman student shared her experience and how the woodworking classes has changed her life.  Cinthia said she is more fulfilled, empowered and just happier after learning woodworking.

Cinthia seems to feel it may still be more common to come across men wielding chisels and saws than women, but there’s no logical reason why that should be the case. We weren’t meant to live our lives sitting in front of screens; Its unusually rewarding to create some

thing with our hands – that elemental desire to create is innate in all of us. Learning woodwork can enrich women’s lives and build life skills in a huge number of ways so it’s well worth considering. Have Hammer Will Travel A.C. woodworking school gives women and teenagers a Sense of satisfaction.

If you spend hours every day typing at a keyboard or in a typical office job the sort of satisfaction gained from acquiring a practical skill can be an amazing stress buster and antidote. You’ll feel a huge sense of accomplishment when you complete a project – there’s nothing better than the sort of pride you experience after a job well done. Woodwork teaches us that merely focusing on speed, which often results in poor quality products – doesn’t cut it in carpentry; it requires that you really commit your all – and completing a project in that mindset leads to an amazing sense of accomplishment and a great buzz.

Our school is achieving the 2022 goals we set out we still need your support.

The acronym SMART identifies the areas of focus in goal-setting. It stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results-oriented or relevant, and Time-bound.

Thank you for your continued support of our students
