Beneficiary A in Owlypia Global Debate Competition was a successful project on GlobalGiving that raised $6,500 to enable Quincy, a talented student, to participate in the prestigious Owlypia Global Debate Competition. This esteemed international event is renowned for fostering essential global skills among students. Beneficiary A and his parents, the Directors of Another Hope Children's Ministries, faced a significant financial barrier in covering the expenses associated with his participation.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the project ensured that Beneficiary Ahad the necessary resources to represent his school and Uganda on an international stage. He gained invaluable experiences and skills that will undoubtedly benefit him both academically and personally. These skills include critical thinking, research, and communication skills, which are essential for success in higher education and future career opportunities.
We are excited to share that Quincy's hard work and dedication paid off! He was awarded a gold medal at the competition, a testament to his talent, perseverance, and the support he received from Another Hope and generous donors like you.
