Dear Sponsors of Luz Marina,
Once again we thank you so much for your support for Luz Marina as she works very hard to overcome her vulnerable situation by educating herself as an Auxiliary Nurse. In the month of August our students will be writing to their sponsors, and so we will send along Luz Marina’s letter for you with pictures of her in her studies.
The amount of the donations sent for Luz Marina came to $US 1186.88 which comes to 8237 Bolivanos at the exchange rate of 6,94 Bs to the dollar. Of this we have so far spent Bs 960 for three months of study for Luz Marina so there is still Bs 7277 for the rest of her studies. As well, from a separate fund for school materials Helping Hands has paid Bs 361, or about $US 50 for the supplies and materials that Luz Marina needed for April to June. Below please find the accounting for both her monthly fees and the materials she needed.
