Dear Sponsors of Betza and Dania,
We thank you so very much for your support for Betza and Dania for the credit for internet for their cell phones, so that they can be connected to the Internet to receive and send their homework assignments. We did receive a bit of a fright last week when the Ministry of Education announced the closure of the school year, but fortunately that decision has been modified, and the students will continue the school year online until the end of November. That makes it even more vital the support you have given to Betza and Dania for their online connections. We have even been able to help their brother Wilder with his online connection as he is in grade 11.
DANIA: “Aquí estoy haciendo mi tarea de biología de la profesora Rosemary”. (Here I am doing my biology homework from Profesor Rosemary).
BETZA:“Yo, aquí estoy pasando clases virtuales de la materia de química con el Profesor Javier”. (Here I am having my online classes in Chemistry with Profesor Javier”.
We were also able to provide some credit for Wilder, Dania and Betza’s older brother who is in grade 11.
WILDER: “Una foto es cuando estoy entrando al grupo donde dan las clases, y les escribí a mis profesores para que me envíen mis tareas por WhatsApp.” (One of the photos is when I am entering with the group where they give classes and I write to my professors so they can send me my homework by WhatsApp.)”
Thank you all so very much for this support. Our students are continuing their studies against many odds and your help with the online access is making all the difference.
Muchos saludos,
Linda
