Meeting the challenges of the global climate and ecological crisis requires the experience of learning through models and strategies that can be adapted or reinterpreted through the wisdom of diverse cultures and sacred places. The global climate crises may feel overwhelming until we realize we have the tools, knowledge, and community with whom we can work to be part of healing solutions, joyful wellbeing, and creative engagement to meet our Nature Needs in fun, meaningful and effective ways.
Experiential learning workshops include step-by-step lesson to create a Metta Garden; the Kok Nong Nha Thai model for living harmoniously with nature with self sufficiency; eco-friendly brick-making; solar kitchens; learning about ecology & spiritual significance of pond systems in southern India; a climate educational bicycle Yathra meeting communities along the way! Workshop attendees are invited to disseminate lessons. Your donations will cover costs for participants' travel food & lodging.
These workshops share traditional eco-wisdom & practices across cultures of Asia, leveraging practical skills to regenerate ecologies, create localized just & appropriate food, housing, market systems--to restore harmony, wellbeing & health in community, & inspire wider, deeper collective actions to heal and care for each other, for all beings, for Mother Earth. This series of workshops in Tamil Nadu contributes to the growing movement across humanity to take responsibility for our worlds.
