On July 26th, Desange underwent surgery as planned to remove the tumor on her fallopian tube. She remained in the hopital in Kigali for two days to recover and the surgery was successful. She has nearly fully recovered and she and her husband Martin thank you so much for making this surgery possible. They had worked hard to save some money, but it would have been another year or more until they could have paid the full cost of the surgery without your support. Desange had this same health concern five years ago and was unable to bear more than one child, but she is grateful to be able to watch her one son grow and succeed.
Thanks to your kind generosity, Desange is no longer suffering from pain and the fear of potential further complications.
