Hey everyone, We just wanted to give a quick little update to say that the funds have arrived and we have been able to pay not just last month’s salaries but next months too (and about 20% of the month after that). We are so grateful to all of you for your incredible support, thanks to you everyone is getting their much needed money on time and in full.
In the coming weeks we are hopeful that restrictions in our area will lift a little. It is our hope that we can open up our school and give parents who are capable and willing to resume paying fees. Our classes continue to run online for the school with surprising success. On the farm we are getting ready to plant our rice paddy crop. The children of the Mission are doing surprisingly well, their lives are mostly unaffected by the lockdown. Each day is filled with games and activities as we try to escape the blistering heat of Indian summer.
Once again we thank you all for your amazing support, it would have been a nightmare to manage this alone. It is incredibly encouraging to us to know that we have such a great support team to fall back on during difficult times.
