Dear Sponsors,
I greet you very happy and thankful for this great opportunity that you are providing for my life.
Here in the city of La Paz it is very cold, as we are entering into Winter vacation and we took advantage of this time to spend happy moments with my family and my son. We went to the park, we played and together with my mother and we had a good time.
We took advantage of this time to the maximum as in regular times I don’t have much time with my son and I felt very happy. A few days ago classes began again for school. Ismael, my son, is in kindergarten and he is 4 years old and each day when we pass by my university, he jumps with emotion and he says to me “Look Mami, your university..!!! Congratulations”. These words give impulse to my life to give all the best of me and one day be a great professional.
I feel very content that I have now completed my first semester of Public Accounting. It was a good semester, the university is excellent with good professors, I learned many things. I liked very much this programme as it is dynamic and on learns by practicing and practicing. I also learned to organize my time between my son, work and studying for which this second semester I know that I will do much better because now I learned how the work is at the university and the role that I must follow.
As for my grades, dear sponsors, the courses that were most difficult for me Basic Accounting because I did not understand the professor who is an older person and all the students felt the same, and also Business Law which is a very difficult subject with much theory. Algebra was difficult in the last exam as it covered the whole semester. On the other hand, the subjects that I found easier were Computation 1, Administration 1, Economics and Calculus. They were very interesting, especially Calculus which I liked very much. In Calculus, many students failed because they went to the exam of the second turn which gives them a last chance. Of my whole class only 10 passed Calculus and I was amongst those 10 people and I was one of the best. This course was not easy for many, but I was able to pass it.
Well, Dear Sponsors, I say good bye and promise to make even more effort. I thank you very much as you are giving me a new hope and opportunity to become better. Thank you very much and may God Bless you always.
