EAA Program help individuals with special needs reach their own potential, and improve their quality of life through our Equine Assisted Activities Program (adaptive riding). These activities contribute positively to the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of individuals with special needs. According to the US Census, more than 3.2 million Floridians, reported a disability in 2000. Special need individuals have long-lasting physical, mental, or emotional conditions that can impede them from being able to go outside the home alone or to work. Although most of them attend to their weekly therapies, these individuals have a lack of outdoor activities where they can connect to nature and change their environments. EAA is a life changing project with horses and nature.
Providing our EAA Program that will contribute positively to the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of individuals with special needs. Through the teamwork of our staff, trained volunteers and equines, we create a personalized program where the participants will set up goals and objectives to accomplish through the Equine Assisted Activities.
Our Goal is to impact lives of Individuals with special needs. Providing help for more than 100 participants.
